Reiki

 Reiki (ray-kee) is a technique used for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It helps to balance the body’s energy thereby enhancing the healing process. A form of healing touch therapy, Reiki strengthens the body’s natural ability to heal itself of any sort of ailment physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Reiki promotes a greater sense of peace, security and wellbeing.

This inspired guided meditation has the power to transform, heal and rejuvenate you at core levels. It also helps you catch up on your sleep, 20 minutes of Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra can feel like 2 to 3 hours of sleep.

A Certified Reiki Master-Teacher-Practitioner, a Certified Yoga Teacher, a Certified Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra Practitioner (A Guided Healing Meditation), and a Certified Chair Yoga Practitioner.


My healing sessions help you rest, heal, balance and restore, creating shifts on a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level.

If you’re feeling stressed, in pain, fatigued, anxious, depressed or disconnected, Reiki and Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra helps to calm, relax and reduce stress, decrease anxiety, improve sleep, increase energy, lower heart rate and blood pressure and strengthen the immune system.

From my healing space in Sayville, I offer both In-person and Distance Reiki, Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra and Chair Yoga. You may experience these healing modalities In-Person or from the comfort of your own home by Phone or Zoom. I also offer these modalities to clients Nationally and Internationally.

The Healing Touch of Reiki

Reiki is an ancient art used for stress reduction and relaxation. Reiki helps to balance the body’s energy thereby enhancing the healing process. It’s a form of healing touch therapy that reduces stress, promotes relaxation and provides relief from aches and pains, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

Reiki will increase energy, stimulate the immune system, encourage restful sleep and help support the healing of any illness.

 

Reiki helps you Relax, Restore, Rejuvenate and Heal.

 

A typical Reiki treatment lasts 45 minutes to an hour. The client lies clothed on a massage table in a room conducive to healing.  Reiki is a safe, highly effective healing modality that will leave you with a feeling of peace and relaxation.

Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra®

Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra® is a guided meditation that has the power to transform, heal and rejuvenate you at your core levels.  Through the use of body sensing, breath awareness, guided imagery and other practices, you are systematically guided on a journey through your whole being called the koshas. This will help you catch up on any lost sleep! 20 minutes of yoga nidra is equated with 3 hours of sleep. This practice can bring your mind into its healing, restful state suspended between being awake and asleep where you can receive the ultimate power-nap that goes well beyond normal sleep.

If you are feeling stressed or anxious, alternate nostril breathing is an easy and powerful way to quickly calm your mind and body, as well as give you an instant energy boost.
 

Alternate nostril breathing, a type of pranayama, is incredibly simple yet has fantastic benefits, both immediate and long term.

 

Pranayama means "control of the breath" and there are several pranayama techniques. However I like this method because it's simple, very effective and you can do it anywhere.

Meditation 

Another way to reduce stress in your life is meditation. Meditation refers to a broad variety of practices that includes techniques designed to promote relaxation, build internal energy or life force (qi, ki, prana, etc.) and develop compassion, love, patience, generosity, and forgiveness.

​

A particularly ambitious form of meditation aims at effortlessly sustained single-pointed concentration meant to enable its practitioner to enjoy an indestructible sense of wellbeing while engaging in any life activity.

The Benefits of Essential Oils

Essential Oils are aromatic liquids. They are distilled from flowers, trees, roots, bushes, and the seeds of plants, and are rich in antioxidants, nutrients and compounds beneficial to sustaining health and vitality. The distillation process is what makes essential oils so concentrated - it takes, for example, thousands of flower petals to create the drops that are in a single bottle of rose oil and one drop of YL peppermint oil makes 28 cups of peppermint tea. 


Throughout History
Essential oils have been used throughout recorded history for a wide variety of wellness applications. The Egyptians were some of the first people to use aromatic essential oils extensively in wellness, beauty treatment, food preparation, and in religious ceremony. In addition, there are over 200 references to aromatics, incense, and ointments throughout the Old and New Testaments of the Bible (36 of the 39 books of the Old Testament and 10 of the 27 books of the New Testament mention essential oils or the plants that produce them.
